Dear Carol,

 

 

I heard and read about your apprentice program and I am very interested to apply for it. I am creative, enthusiastic, hardworking cook with a passion for food.  I have few experiences in cooking but it doesn’t mean that I am not competitive. I’ve been cooking for a small restaurant in our town for almost 3 years. Being in the kitchen, preparing amazing food for others makes me think that this is what I want to be.

 

After completing my apprenticeship in 2009, I worked in different restaurants. I had lots of hands-on experience in regards to cooking. I am available and eager to learn more on this skill. I hope you will give me a chance to shadow one of your cooks for few days so that I have more idea on how they work. 

 

I can communicate effectively with others. I am great in working as a part of a team. I believe that I have an exceptional culinary expertise, positive and absolute passion for this skill and make a perfect cook for your department.
